Regular Season Round 10: Falcon - Laguna Sharks 56-66

There was no surprise when 13th ranked DanishFalcon (4-4) lost to third ranked Romanian Laguna Sharks (5-2) 56-66 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Laguna Sharks. Falcon managed to win fourth quarter 15-11 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Laguna Sharks forced 30 Falcon turnovers. Strangely Falcon outrebounded Laguna Sharks 48-35 including 22 on the offensive glass. Cezar Gradescu notched 20 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and Tudor Chivu supported him with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Even a double-double of 15 points and 15 rebounds by Benjamin Thorman did not help to save the game for Falcon . Malte Cramer added 10 points and 13 rebounds for lost side. Four Falcon players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory Laguna Sharks went down to 50th position due to points difference. Loser Falcon dropped to the fourteenth place with four games lost. They share the position with Vardar and Gdynia.
